One More Mile to Go
Bag over my shoulder, I walk in the soft glow of the full moon.
Dark and cool is the night
How many miles I've walked, I can not tell
But always one more mile to go, one foot in front of the other
relentlessly ever seeking what lays ahead
Memories fading of where I've been
One more hill to climb
One more valley to cross
One more sunrise
One more sunset
One more friend
One more love
One more danger
One more evil
One more adventure
The wild and crazy
the sane and mild
There's a fine line that separates them all
some judging
some bewildered
If you walk far enough, you will meet them all on this walk we're all on
